Visiting Guidelines

Effective September 27, 2022

COVID Prevention Guidelines

To help prevent the spread of COVID, the following guidelines are in effect:

  • All visitors with COVID or flu-like symptoms — such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath — will not be permitted to visit
  • Wear a well-fitted face mask (surgical mask or double masking recommended) upon entry and throughout your visit
  • Wear additional personal protective equipment (PPE) as deemed appropriate by staff
  • Maintain physical distance from staff and other visitors, patients, and residents

Visitation Parameters

  • Up to two healthy visitors (at least 16 years of age) per patient per day
  • Maximum visit duration: 15 minutes
  • Visiting hours: 7–9 p.m. only
  • A staff member will escort each visitor to the visitation area — visitors may not roam the hallways
  • Unit 1 visitors: Patio
  • Unit 2 visitors: Dining room

Additional Visitor Guidelines

  • Visitors must provide their name, date, contact information, and the patient’s name at the lobby before entry
  • Visitor belongings will be checked for contraband; larger items can be stored in provided lockers
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring food for patients, with the exception of sealed food for cultural or religious reasons, or by physician order — fast food may not be ordered or brought in
